Splodges and Bouldering Sets
In our continuing effort
to get you more bang for your dollar, these sets are designed
to give you as many holds, folds and variations on a single
hold as we can fit. It is up to you NOT to go for the juggy
edge everytime you swing over it. These holds are specifically
for boulder training. Make life as hard (or easy) as you like,
by restricting which part of the holds you are allowed to touch.
Splodges #1 is inspired
by sandstone boulder problems and consists of more positive
edges, lips and grooves interspersed with larger pinches. Splodges
#2 is for those who move about on smoother stuff. The Granite
style has smoother scallops and monos, with single crystal moves
in between.
Having put together
larger holds, all that was left was to continue the concept,
but on a much smaller scale. The Mini-Splodges are snotty little
clusters of moves. Tiny grooves, seams, pinches and crimps for
filling out your bouldering training. As with all Mingy Holds,
we pack as many faces onto a hold as we can, and it's up to
you to make the climb.
